ENERGY ENCORE VOTED EUROPEAN HOME THEATER SPEAKER OF THE YEAR 2000-2001
At their annual meeting in Switzerland, the panel members of EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association), awarded the Energy Encore speaker system the prestigious honor of Home Theater Speaker of the Year 2000/2001. Only one home theater speaker system is so honored each year.
The EISA Award is bestowed for meeting a comprehensive set of criteria - the most advanced technology, the most desirable features, the ultimate expression of design, the most satisfying ergonomics and the best value. And in a special note by EISA, the Encore system was called "extraordinary", and "a lot more than the sum of its parts".
The EISA panel is comprised of members representing 40 prominent audio, home theater, video and photo magazines from 18 European countries. Through detailed, objective and standardized test reports, member publications nominate a short-list of products. At the annual meeting, the short-list is presented for discussion using the EISA criteria and the members vote by secret ballot to determine the final awards. This unbiased process is therefore highly regarded throughout Europe.
